In giornata su Twitter, CD Projekt Red ha annunciato ufficialmente che la saga di The Witcher ha raggiunto quota 50 milioni di copie vendute in tutto il mondo.

La saga di The Witcher debuttò per la prima volta nel 2007 su PC, a seguire nel 2011, il secondo capitolo The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, e nel 2015, il terzo capitolo The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, per poi concludere nel 2018 con lo spin-off, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.
